The Minnesota Marathon is FINALLY here and Brian will be running 26.2 miles this coming weekend. Make sure to leave him some comments and some encouragement. He's gonna need it!
26.2 miles isn't something that you just go out and do everyday. It takes months and months of training and that's what Brian has chosen to do.
So over the past five months of training, Brian has put in lots of miles and is ready to race. There has been injuries, there has been struggles, there has been successes, and there has been a lot of complaining!
You can't just push through it and expect good things to happen. And if you want to stay healthy and keep going the distance, recovering from an injury has to be taken seriously.
